I originally took this photo in color before I knew that assignment 2 was supposed to be in black and white. I rather liked it better in color though, so here it is both ways. Let me know which one you prefer.
I like both! I think the B&W would be better if you punched up the contrast a little and make the blacks blacker. I find it interesting that the focus shifts pretty significantly in the B&W to the white pipes behind the water, where in the color version the band of light is what grabs the eye!
